14 Jun Rainwater Harvest System Rebuild.
This is an example of a poorly designed rainwater harvest system.
The pumps used were a 5″ Bore Pump which were oversized to the application, resulting in the pumps running off curve.
The internal bearings and mechanical seals failed due to fine vibration and the system fell silent for 4 years with neither the builder,
plumber, engineer or supplier claiming responsibility. Teknik Group was able to determine the cause of failure, rebuild the system and
return a fully automatic set up to the site owners.
